Ines Loughraieb
Ines Loughraieb is a seasoned strategist in government affairs and corporate communications, known for her cross-sector expertise and international experience. She has held senior roles in both the public sector and private industry, leveraging her skills to guide high-impact initiatives at the intersection of policy, finance, and reputation management. Her career spans parliamentary leadership, corporate strategy, and global stakeholder engagement.
Ines’s career in public service reached a pinnacle when she served as Chief of Staff (Directrice de cabinet) to a Member of the French Parliament. In this role, she was the principal advisor to Deputy Michel Delpon, a parliamentarian from the majority party, where she managed legislative strategy, political communications, and external relations. Notably, during 2019, she co-founded and coordinated the Hydrogen Study Group in the National Assembly, a cross-party initiative aimed at advancing France’s clean energy agenda. Under her guidance, over 150 parliamentarians rallied behind a call for a national hydrogen plan, an effort that anticipated emerging energy trends and influenced government policy. Her work on this initiative, conducted alongside Deputy Delpon, demonstrated her ability to navigate complex policy issues and build consensus around innovative solutions. For her contributions, Ines also served as a Special Advisor to Jean-Lou Blachier, then-President of the Confédération des PME and the Groupement du Patronat Francophone (GPF), advising on economic strategy and international outreach.
Transitioning to the private sector, Ms Loughraieb applied her strategic communication skills in the world of finance and corporate reputation. She previously served as Head of Communication for a leading French private equity firm, LBO France, which manages over 7 billion dollars in assets. In this capacity, she led the development and execution of the firm’s internal and external communication strategy, positioning the company in the market and managing stakeholder engagement at a high level. Her tenure at LBO France put her at the forefront of initiatives where finance meets public perception, exemplifying how effective communication can drive business objectives and trust. Before her role in private equity, Ines established a robust foundation in corporate strategy through her roles at top global communications agencies. She began her career as an analyst at a Franco-Emirati investment consultancy, then transitioned to a public affairs and influence communications advisor role with Weber Shandwick and later Havas Paris. In these roles, she advised executives from a wide range of industries – including telecom, energy, utilities, healthcare, and retail – with a client portfolio featuring major organizations such as Orange, Engie, Veolia, Harmonie Mutuelle (Groupe VYV), Novartis, Citeo, and Monoprix. This experience honed her ability to craft strategies that align business goals with public narratives, preparing her to lead communications for large financial institutions and beyond.
One of Ms Loughraieb’s distinguishing strengths is her international experience across Europe, Africa, and the Gulf region. Through her work with the Groupement du Patronat Francophone, where she has been Director of Communication and a special advisor, she has engaged with business leaders and policymakers from diverse geopolitical contexts. The GPF role involves fostering economic partnerships among Francophone and Francophile countries, which has taken Ines to forums and initiatives spanning from Europe to West Africa and the Middle East. This global exposure has given her a nuanced understanding of regional development challenges, emerging markets, and cultural dynamics in business. Across all these contexts, Ines Loughraieb is recognized for her sharp understanding of emerging risks and innovation trends. Her early advocacy for hydrogen energy in France’s recovery plan is one example of how she anticipates technological and environmental disruptions. She combines insights from multiple sectors – from technology and infrastructure to finance and sustainability – to help clients and stakeholders navigate complexity.
