Longviews is guided by a world-class leadership and advisory team of strategic thinkers and change-makers in defense, policy, and technology.
Author, professor, and strategic advisor with nearly 20 years of experience in defense and security foresight. Dr. Rizzo was elected UNESCO Chair in Futures Studies and serves as a senior advisor on strategic foresight to the U.S. Department of Defense and NATO. A former ministerial advisor for strategic futures to a defense minister and published author, he brings unparalleled expertise to Longviews in using futures across global security institutions and defense.
Former Chief Scientist of the U.S. Space Force and a key architect of its science and technology strategy. Dr. Mozer brings over 30 years of experience in aerospace research and innovation, having guided cutting-edge space programs for the U.S. Air Force and Space Force. Now Chief Scientist Emeritus of the U.S. Space Force, he continues to champion technological innovation in Longviews, with deep insight into future defense capabilities in the space domain.
An internationally recognized foresight professional and educator, Dr. Sweeney holds a UNESCO Chair in Futures Studies. He serves as a senior advisor on strategic foresight to the Martti Ahtisaari Peace Foundation and teaches foresight at the University of Houston. Dr. Sweeney has led futures projects across five continents and published extensively on the topic, bringing thought leadership that helps Longviews embed innovative foresight practices into defense and policy planning.
A high-impact executive with over 25 years of experience in global human resources and organizational transformation. Vindou has held leadership roles as a global Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer at major multinational companies, and she founded a successful business transformation consultancy. As a certified executive coach known for unlocking leadership potential, she brings expertise in change management and innovation culture, driving Longviews’ clients toward agile, future-ready organizations.
Author, military psychologist, and strategic advisor with over two decades of experience in defense leadership, culture, and human performance. Sarah leads People & Culture for UK Strategic Command’s Transformation Programme and serves as a Senior Research Fellow at the British Army’s Centre for Army Leadership; she is also a Fellow of the British Psychological Society and of the Chartered Management Institute. A former Non‑Executive Director in Standing Joint Forces Command – and the first dedicated Submarine Psychologist to serve in uniform in any naval force – she has published widely and advised across NATO and allied forces. She brings to Longviews a rare ability to turn behavioral science into operational advantage in complex, multinational defense systems.
A widely respected and distinguished science and technology leader who served as the Chief Scientist of the United States Air Force. Dr. Joseph has over 40 years of experience in physics, directed-energy research, and defense innovation, culminating as the seniormost scientific advisor to the Secretary and the Chief of Staff of the U.S. Air Force. With his profound expertise in cutting-edge military technologies and research management, he guides Longviews’ vision for science and technology, ensuring our clients maintain a decisive edge through innovation.
